A hotel or B&B app: rooms, local guide and messages
Your rooms in photos, the local guide, events, a message at the right moment and a questionnaire at checkout: an app for a hotel, a B&B or a holiday cottage, and its price.

A hotel app travels with your guests before, during and after their stay. Rooms in photos, the best spots nearby, a message at the right moment and a questionnaire at checkout. It starts at €19 a month.
Saturday, 6 p.m. A couple has just arrived at your B&B. They’re looking for a restaurant, want to know what time breakfast is served, and wonder what to see tomorrow. They’ll call the front desk, or search online and end up anywhere.
With your app, it’s all already in their pocket, under your name. Here I show you what it contains, with the screens of our tourism demo.
Why a hotel needs an app
Your guests spend their stay on their phone. The app puts your place there, with your own tips, not those of a booking site.
It answers everyday questions without tying up the front desk, and it keeps in touch after checkout: past guests get your offers to come back.
It even helps before arrival: send the link in the confirmation email, and guests find directions, parking and check-in time without calling you.
Everything below applies to a hotel, a B&B, a holiday cottage, a holiday residence or a campsite.
What a hotel app contains

Your rooms and services
Each room with its photos, description and amenities. Add your services: breakfast, parking, spa, bike rental, front desk hours and wifi code.
The local guide
Places to see, going out, the restaurants you recommend: each address with its photo, description and a map in one tap. It’s your little book of good spots, the one guests ask you for every day.
Events nearby
Concerts, markets, festivals: each date with its place and times. If the local tourist office publishes an online calendar, it can connect through iCal and update itself.
Booking
A button takes guests to your usual booking page, the one on your website. For a small place, a request form is enough: dates, number of guests, message, and you get the request by email.
The right message at the right moment
A notification goes to every guest who has installed the app, right away or at the time you choose. A few examples ready to send:
- “Breakfast is served until 10 a.m., on the terrace this morning ☀️”
- “Tonight at 9 p.m.: fireworks at the harbour, a 5-minute walk away”
- “Coming back this winter? 15% off your next night when you book direct”
Notifications are unlimited, in every plan. The writing guide is in the article on push notifications.
The satisfaction questionnaire
At checkout, a short questionnaire in the app: the room, the welcome, breakfast, a free comment. You build it yourself with multiple choice, checkboxes or ratings, and each answer arrives by email.

You know what guests like before a review is posted elsewhere. The how-to is in the article on app forms.
Get guests to install the app
A QR code at the front desk, in every room and in the confirmation email, with a simple line: “Your whole stay on your phone”. The guest scans, and the app installs in seconds. It’s all explained in the article on the QR code.
How much does a hotel app cost
At Maymoune, every feature is included in all three plans, with no commission on your bookings:
- Starter, €19 a month: your web app, installed from a link or a QR code.
- Ultra, €59 a month: the same, plus the iPhone, iPad and Android app on the stores.
- Ultra lifetime, €2,999: a one-time payment, with publishing on the App Store and Google Play included.
My advice: start with the local guide. It’s the section guests open most, and the one that makes them keep the app. Plan details are on the pricing page.
