An app for your yoga studio: video classes, meditations and schedule
Video classes sorted by theme, guided audio meditations, the workshop schedule and a reminder the day before: an app for a yoga studio or teacher, a real demo and its price.

A yoga studio app takes your classes home. Your students find your videos, guided meditations and schedule on their phone. It starts at €19 a month.
Wednesday evening, 9 pm. A student missed your class this week. She rolls out her mat in the living room, opens your app, and follows the twenty-minute session you filmed on Monday.
The following Saturday, she is in the front row of your outdoor workshop, after getting a reminder the evening before. I’ll show you what this app looks like, with a real demo, and what it costs.
Why an app for a yoga studio
Practice is built between classes. An app gives your students something to keep going at home, and keeps them connected to you, not to one channel among a thousand others.
It also brings together what was scattered: the schedule on a sheet of paper, workshops on social media, meditations sent by message.
Everything below works for a yoga studio, an independent teacher, a pilates, sophrology or meditation class, or a wellness coach.
The screens of a yoga app
Here is the “elearning” demo I prepared, built around a yoga and meditation studio. It is a starting template: you replace the classes, texts and photos with your own.

Video classes
Each session has its thumbnail, length and summary. You sort them by theme: solo meditation, meditation for two, prenatal yoga. The student picks a tab, starts the video, and saves favorites in one tap.
Guided audio meditations
For screen-free sessions, an audio section with its player. “Around a Camp Fire”, “The Waterfall in the Mountain”: the student puts on headphones and closes her eyes.
The workshop schedule
Outdoor class, Sunday workshop, weekend retreat: each event has its date, times, place and photo. Your students know where and when to find you.

Putting a class online
In the back office, you upload the video, up to 500 MB, or paste the embed code of a video already online. You choose its theme, and it appears in the app.

Three handy settings in the same place: pin a session to the top of the list, give it an expiry date for a limited offer, and turn comments on or off.
Want to sell access to your classes? The Memberships extension offers paid subscriptions in the iPhone and Android apps, so with the Ultra plan. Apple and Google take their share of each subscription.
Keeping your students on track
“New Monday session: 20 minutes to open the hips.” This message goes out every week, and your students know a practice is waiting for them. Notifications are unlimited, in every plan.

For one-to-one sessions, online booking is covered in the article on the therapist app.
Who keeps the studio app alive?
You, once a week. You film a session on your phone, upload it, and send the message. The writing AI helps with the summary, and you can control the app from ChatGPT or Claude.
The easiest way to start: five short videos, three meditations, and this month’s schedule.
How much does a yoga studio app cost
At Maymoune, video, audio and the schedule are included in all three plans, along with every other feature:
- Starter, €19 a month: your web app, installed from a link or a QR code.
- Ultra, €59 a month: the same, plus the iPhone, iPad and Android app on the stores.
- Ultra lifetime, €2,999: a one-time payment, with publishing on the App Store and Google Play included.
My advice: at the end of each class, show the QR code and simply say “this week’s session is in the app”. That is the best reason to install it. Plan details are on the pricing page.
