An app for your pizzeria: takeaway orders and delivery

Your menu in photos, pizza sizes, the basket, online payment, pickup or delivery and a message on a Friday evening: a pizzeria app, a real demo and its price.

pizzeria app,takeaway ordering app

A pizzeria app takes orders for you while the oven is running. Customers choose, pay, and come to pick up. Every order comes back to you in full, and the app starts at €19 a month.

Friday, 7:30 pm. The phone won’t stop ringing, you jot down an order while pulling a Margarita out of the oven, and you hear “ham” instead of “mushrooms”. Meanwhile, three calls go to voicemail.

With your app, those orders arrive written down and already paid. I’ll show you what it looks like, with a real demo, and what it costs.

Why an app for a pizzeria

Delivery apps bring you customers, but they keep a share of every order and the contact with the person. Your own app gives you both back: the full amount and a direct line to your regulars.

It also eases the rush. Fewer calls, fewer note-taking mistakes, and a queue of orders you prepare in turn.

Everything below works for a pizzeria, a pizza truck, an Italian restaurant, a kebab or burger place, or any kitchen that sells takeaway.

The screens of a pizzeria app

Here is the “restaurant” demo I prepared, built around an Italian pizzeria. It is a starting template: you replace the menu, prices and photos with your own.

Three screens of the Maymoune pizzeria app demo: the list of pizzas with prices, the home screen with the menu and a Margarita page with the size selector
The “restaurant” demo: the pizzas, the home screen, and a Margarita page with its size.

The menu by section

Pizzas, pasta, meats, desserts, drinks: each section scrolls on the home screen with its photos and prices. The add to basket button sits under each dish, without opening the page.

The dish page and the size

A large photo, the price, the size choice, then the list of ingredients. The customer sees straight away what is on the pizza, and picks the classic or the large.

The basket and payment

The customer pays online, by card or PayPal, and chooses pickup or delivery in your area, with a rate per zone. A banner on the home screen announces takeaway.

The menu in the back office

Each dish has its page: a photo, its section, and one row per size with its price. The classic Margarita at €12, the large at €16. Out of mozzarella? Set the dish’s stock to zero, and it can no longer be ordered.

The shop settings sit in the same place: payment, delivery and its zones, taxes, the checkout flow, and the texts of the emails and notifications sent with each order.

Filling quiet evenings

“This Tuesday, second pizza half price, only on the app.” You schedule this message for 6 pm, and it reaches your regulars just before dinner. Notifications are unlimited, in every plan.

You attach a discount code, with its duration and usage limit. A quiet evening becomes a good one.

Who keeps the pizzeria app alive?

You, once a season for the menu, and two minutes a week for a message. A new pizza of the month? A photo, a price, and it is online. You can also control the app from ChatGPT or Claude.

The easiest way to start: your ten best-selling pizzas, the drinks, and pickup.

How much does a pizzeria app cost

At Maymoune, online ordering is included in all three plans, along with every other feature:

  • Starter, €19 a month: your web app, installed from a link or a QR code.
  • Ultra, €59 a month: the same, plus the iPhone, iPad and Android app on the stores.
  • Ultra lifetime, €2,999: a one-time payment, with publishing on the App Store and Google Play included.

My advice: print the QR code on your pizza boxes. Every customer who phoned this week will order from the app next week. Plan details are on the pricing page.
